Beyond the clouds

More than 9,000 dead and 23,000 wounded: such is the outcome of the double earthquake that shook Nepal in the spring of 2015. In Kathmandu, relief efforts are well organized and numerous, but they do not reach the higher valleys. In the Nubri Valley, completely isolated, men and women come together to counter their fate.

Two young boys, Raj and Shiva, who have been forced by the earthquake to become mule-drivers, will now face a future, that no ancestral tradition could have ever helped them face.
