In 1948, Clément Mathieu, an unemployed music teacher takes up the position of proctor in a correctional boarding school. Shocked by the Headmaster Rachin’s severe disciplinary methods, he introduces the troubled children to music and singing in a choir. In doing so, Mathieu will transform their daily routine.
