lucky centenarian woman, a traveling farm-worker, a gyrocopter hanging in mid-air, a rooster about to get the chop … As Life Goes By, takes things as they come and people as they are. Far from the cynicism of city folk, the film reveals the eccentric and quirky reality of a small village in the Aveyron countryside: a rural bouquet of humanity, whose protagonists are bound by their common desire to reside in Najac, living well, close to nature – and free.
