In the north-eastern Himalayas, the chief of a small village perched on top of a mountain is unwilling to let his son’s friend Karma travel with him and lead the yak caravan. The reason for his reluctance is that he holds Karma responsible for the death of his son. Karma and the village chief thus embark on their descent of the mountain separately.
